With the aim to promote awareness campaign on the welfare and well-being of vulnerable older people in Nigeria, the Coalition of Civil Society for the Rights of Older Persons in Nigeria, (COSROPIN), in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, today in Abuja, holds her 2nd National Conference on Ageing with a theme: Journey to age equality; the society and the older persons: the Nigerian perspective.

The conference is part of COSROPIN’s vision to awaken the consciousness of every Nigerians, towards promoting and ensuring effective general system that will cater for the wellbeing, welfare and dignity of all older persons.
The organization is committed to sensitizing governments at all levels and organized private sector to enable them formulate ageing policy issues usually call attention to shortcomings to be found across a range of programs addressing vulnerable older people.
