The President of the New Building Materials Sellers Association, Edo state Chapter, Mr Abeh Nnoso Kingsley, has described the body as a group of credible individuals who come together as an entity with intention to serve people better.
Mr. Kingsley made this known this week in an interview with some newsmen in his office.
The president however, enumerated some of his achievements since his assumption of office, most importantly, engaging the services of security agency to protect the life and properties of their members. He also added that efforts has been made in transforming the life of members to become a better people in the society and as well as improving the traffic situation of the market.

Meanwhile, he encouraged the concerted collaboration with another sister body in piloting the affairs of the association and also called for having a periodic meeting with the leadership of different market associations to foster peace and harmony among the members.
He however highlighted few major challenges confronted the association such as; ongoing building of the new market to decongest the existing one, therefore, he appealed to the government for financial assistance to ensure the completion of the project.
While lamenting the absence of government agency as intermediary between the government and the association in bridging the communication gap, he then called for putting appropriate mechanism in place that would assist the association in getting closer to the government.
On the area of good governance, he eulogised the incumbent governor for his laudable achievements within the few years of his tenure in terms of construction of good roads and reduction of taxes for the members of the association in Oredo local government which has emanated to alleviate the suffering of his members.
