The inaugural meeting and first reunion party of Baptist High School, Iwo Class of 1994 schelduled to hold today Saturday December 26, 2020.
This is the first time the set of students admitted into the great Baptist High School Iwo between 1989 – 1994 will be coming together after completing all academic requirements and graduated from the school 26 years ago.
According to the planning committee, the group under the auspices of BHS Iwo Alumni Association is committed to bringing the members together at the City Town Hall, Iwo, to interact with one another, reignite that old memories and chart a way forward for the union.
The reunion which was explaining the minds of members thus: We have come a long way since 1994. Our faces, figures and addresses may have changed in the last 26 years, but we will always remember the wonderful times we shared in Baptist High School, Adeeke, was to bring its members together under a roof in a meet and greet spree.
One of the members, Adewuyi Adeola who posted on the group’s WhatsApp platform (BHS Iwo Class of 94) said members presence at the reunion party is more important than any form of material contributions.
“Your Presence is more of important than any material contributions and would be well appreciated than any other things”.
“Seeing you that day may have positive impacts in life of someone who you may never think of. Like of one of our teachers told me last Saturday that if you want to live healthy and happy life, then move close to your old friends who will call you by your name rather than title” he said.
The dress code according to the planning committee of the event was Brown and White; and the programme was slated to commence exactly 10:00 am this morning.
