Unknown gun men, suspected to be bandits stormed and abducted scores of students at Government Science College (GSC) Kagara, in Niger State.
The armed men stormed the school in military uniform Tuesday night to have abducted yet to know number of students in the operation.
It was reported that GSC has close to 1,000 students, but as at the time of this report, the number of students abducted is not yet known.
The report explained that the attackers overpowered the security guard on duty, before whisking away a number of them.
It was also gathered that some students narrowly escaped from being taken away by the abductors.
A headcount is being conducted at the school to ascertain the actual number of missing students.
Tracing of the bandits’ movement has commenced, while NAF aircraft is hovering to track the location of the students.
