FG APPOINTMENTS: IWO LIBERAL GROUP CONGRATULATES IWO BORN VETERAN JOURNALIST, LIAD TELLA AND 4 OTHERS

A body of Concerned Citizens of Iwo, popularly known as Iwo Liberal Group (ILG), has joined other eminent Nigerians, particularly Iwo sons and daughters to congratulate five Iwo born appointees; Alh. Liad Tella, Dr. Adebayo Lasisi, Dr. Toafeek Adekunle, Alh. Kola Uzamat and Hon. Kamoru O. Alao on their appointments as Chairman and Members of Governing Council of the Federal owned higher institutes of learning across the country.

The group, in a statement issued on Sunday and jointly signed by its principal officials; Alhaji Adisa Muritala Kulukulu, ( President); Prince Adediran Adeyinka J (Secretary) and Alhaji Mukaila Emiloju (Treasurer), said that appointments of the above five mentioned Iwo’s indigenes into learning environment in Nigeria by President Buhari led administration is a testament to their years of vast experience and track record performance already achieved in various chosen careers.

According to the group, their appointments into Nigerian academy domain is a nicked truth that the town has competent, capable and qualified hands to take responsibility at all levels of human endeavours. Therefore, it is not over statement to acknowledge the current administration in redressing age-long neglect and marginalization of the area by previous administrations.

The statement partly read: “On behalf of Iwo Sons and Daughters both at home and diaspora, we want to congratulate the new appointees the likes of:

  1. Alhaji Liad Tella – The Chairman, Governing Council, FCE, Iwo, Osun State
  2. Dr. Adebayo Lasisi – The Bursar, FCE, Iwo, Osun State.
    3.Dr. Taofeek Adekunle – The Rector, Fed. Poly, Ayede, Oyo State. 4Alhaji Kola Uzamat – Member, Gov. Council, Uniport, Rivers State. 5.Hon. Kamoru Olabisi Alao – Member, Gov. Council, Fed. Poly, Offa, Kwara State.

I.L.G FELICITATES WITH IWO BORN GIANTS ON THEIR WELL DESERVED FEDERAL APPOINTMENTS

The Iwo liberal group is basking in the euphoria and highly elated over the recently announced of the appointments of notable and prominent Iwo sons by the Federal government of Nigeria. In fact, these appointments x-ray the good stance of the current dispensation led by President Muhhammad Buhari and others over age-long neglect and marginalization of Iwoland by previous administrations by righting the wrongs.
On Behalf of Iwo Sons and Daughters both at home and diaspora we want to congratulate the new appointees the likes of:
1.Alhaji Liad Tella –The Pioneer Chairman, Governing Council, Federal College of Education, Iwo, Osun State.
Dr. Adebayo Lasisi _ The Bursar, federal college of education, Iwo, Osun state, Nigeria.
Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Chief Imam Federal Polytechnic Ede- The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ayede, Oyo state.
4.Alhaji Kola Uzamat _ Member, Governing council , University of Port-Harcourt Rivers State.
5.Hon. Kamoru Olabisi Alao _ Member, Governing Board Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara state.

These illustrious sons of the soil have proven their worths in their various capacities in their chosen professions and this has shown a convincing fact that they are well qualified and competent for the National Assignment.

We would be ingrate if we fail to acknowledge the likes of the President Muhammud Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, Senator Engr. Adelere Oriolowo, Mallam Adamu Adamu Minister of Education, Executive Governor of Osun State Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, Oba Dr. Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi (Telu 1) Oluwo of Iwoland, and all well meaning Nigerians who have input in one way or the other for the success of this great feat. This is the most beautiful and wonderful thing that has ever happened to Iwo. ln fact, Iwoland is lucky to have benefitted immensely from this current dispensation.
We say our vehement Congratulations to the appointees, good people of Iwoland, Osun State government and Nigeria in general.
